Kyle Burnett serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Burnett Petroleum Company. Mr. Burnett also serves in this capacity for Magnolia Petroleum Company and Talco Oil Company. In addition to these responsibilities, he serves as Principal of Arcadia Operating LLC. In previous years he has served on the board of directors for Triumph Petroleum Company, Triumph Paci'c Oil and Gas Company, Bagby Energy, LLC., U.S. Scientific, LLC., Leesburg Asphalt, LLC., and Canada Energy Partners (TSX). Mr. Burnett currently serves on the industry related board of the Dallas Wildcat Committee and has served on the boards of both the Dallas Petroleum Club and the Dallas Producers Club. Outside of the industry he has served on The University of Texas Presidents Associates, Baylor Bethesda Board of Directors, Caduceus Society Baylor Health Care System, and the Presidents Council at Dallas Theological Seminary. Mr. Burnett Received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Markus Buchgraber
Markus serves as Vice President of Engineering. He joined Burnett Petroleum in 2019. Markus is primarily responsible for all engineering aspects including production and reserves planning as well as risk management for new and existing prospects. Prior to joining Burnett Petroleum, he worked for Springbok Energy Partners (NGP Portfolio Company) as a Senior Reservoir Engineer responsible for royalty acquisitions of +$70MM in multiple unconventional plays in the US. Before that he held various engineering roles with Denbury Resources, including drilling, production, and reservoir engineering. Markus holds a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from the Mining University of Leoben and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University. He serves as the Co-Chair for New Investment Opportunities for the Stanford University Petroleum Investment Fund and has been a guest lecturer at Stanford University since 2014. He also is an active member of the Dallas Petroleum Club.
Howard Miller joined Arcadia Operating, LLC as Sr. Operations Engineer in April 2018 with over 30 years of experience in primary, secondary and tertiary recovery. He became Operations Manager in February 2019. Howard began his career with smaller independent companies in the Michigan Reef Trend, Eastern Kentucky Appalachia area, and Eastern Shelf of Texas. In 1997, Howard joined Magnum Hunter Resources as Sr. Operations Engineer working primarily in the Morrow in SE New Mexico, Panoma in the Texas Panhandle, and various waterflood fields. Howard joined Denbury Resources in 2006 as a Sr. Operations Engineer working CO2 tertiary projects initially in SE Mississippi then asked to help lead their first Rocky Mountain CO2 project in SE Montana. Howard graduated with a Petroleum Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Association of Drilling Engineers, and the disaster relief group Holy Cow Smokers, providing meals for those affected by natural disasters
Kimi Dailey joined Arcadia Operating LLC in 2018 as the Organizational Manager. Kimi has experience in HR, office management and business ownership across multiple industries. She began her career in Employee Benefits at the Fox Photo Corporation in San Antonio. She moved to Dallas and worked for USLIFE Corporation where she was an HR business partner and managed a small team. She has worked since in management for several small businesses as well as had her own consulting firm. Kimi graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a Master of Arts in Organizational Management
Angela has over 18 years of Accounting and Finance experience, primarily in energy and oil and gas industries. She began her career as the Controller of a Texas erosion company, moving directly into Energy accounting with Tenaska Power Services. She then spent the next several years in Power generation and midstream fuel settlement with Luminant Energy. Most recently she was a Director of Accounting for a downstream Petroleum fuel company. Angela graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University with a Master of Science Degree in Tax Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting. Angela is also a Texas Certified Public Accountant.
Gary provides geological and geophysical consulting services in support of Burnett Petroleum Company’s E&P projects. He has been working with Burnett Petroleum and its various entities since June of 2012. Gary founded his consulting company, EPIC Exploration, L.L.C., in November of 1993 and emphasizes workstation-based applications of advanced exploration and drilling technologies as a means of reducing risks and enhancing exploration efficiency. Gary has over 45 years of E&P experience in both conventional and unconventional oil and gas plays throughout the Lower 48 and offshore Gulf Coast regions of the United States. Prior to founding EPIC, Gary served as Exploration Manager for Cox Exploration, Inc., Division Geophysicist for MGF Oil Corporation, District Geophysicist for Texaco, Inc. and Geophysicist for Minerals Exploration Company. Gary received a BS in Physics from Santa Clara University and a MS in Geosciences from the University of Arizona. Gary is currently an active member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
